Baptism is not a formality, it is an event where a man or woman becomes a son of God. baptism is an immersion, a process where we enter into the life of Christ. It is a doorway through which we enter into eternal life. The way of water and blood.
1.What is the mission the believer?
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:15-16).
2.What accompanies baptism?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:38).
3.In whose name must we baptise?Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matt 28:19).
4.How do we know that baptism is in the “name” not names ?Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever “I” have commanded you:(Matt 28:19b). Do all things in the name of Jesus (Col 3;17).
5.Three thousand Jews were baptised into the name of Jesus|And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews devout men out of every tribe under heaven (Acts 2;5).And there were added not them about three thousand souls (Acts 2:41).Repent and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission sins and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Ghost.(Acts 2:38).
6.Salvation comes to the Gentiles. While Peter spoke the Holy Ghost fellow all them that heard the word (Acts 10:44).Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptised, which have received the Holy Ghost as wells we (Acts 10:47). And he commanded them to be baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 10;48).
7.Salvation comes to the jailor when he is baptised. And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptised, he and all his, straightway. (Acts 16 :30-33).
8.Saul was baptised when he was converted (Acts 19;18 22;16).And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, (SAUL) that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. 15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. 16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (Acts 22;14).
9.Philip baptised the eunuch (Acts 8;38).And they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptised him.

12.What happens to a man that is baptised? And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptised, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (Acts 22:16).
13.Who do we put on when we are baptised? For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27).
14.Baptism is an act of death. How?Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death? (Romans 6:3).
15.How does baptism associate us with Christ?Know ye not that as many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death (Romans 6:4).
16.Are the baptised ones free from guilt, has their guilt been washed away? There is therefore now no condemnation to those in christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)Being free from the late of sin and death (Romans 8:2).Baptism doth also now save us (1 Peter 3:21).
17.Does baptism preside us walking in newness of life? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4b).
18.Does a man have a new life or a make-over life after baptism? For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (Romans 6:5).
19.What follows baptism? Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him(Romans 6:8).
20.Baptism reveals that a man is a son of God?And Jesus when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water; and lo the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him; And lo a voice from heaven saying, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:16,17).If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. (2 Cor 5:17).Born of God’s spiritif any man has not the Spirit he is none of his (Romans 8;9).The Spirit itself beareth witness with our Spirit, that we are the children of God (Romans 8:16).And we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit, which he hath given us (1 John 3:34).
NOTES:
BAPTISM IS A PUBLIC DECLARATION THAT MY LIFE IS NO LONGER MY OWN. NOW I BELONG TO CHRIST. BAPTISM IS WHERE A MAN FOLLOWS CHRIST IN HIS DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION AND SO ENTERS INTO THE LIFE OF THE KINGDOM UNAVAILABLE TO HIM APART FORMAT NEW BIRTH AND BAPTISM ACTS 2:38
Questions to Consider: Once we are saved how do we manifest this eternal life (2 Cor 4:7,10). Explain the new birth (John 3:5) What is "Born of water and Spirit" (John 3:5).
For further Study:The apostles preached the gospel of DEATH BURIAL AND RESURRECTION. Acts 1:22Acts 2:24,32 Acts 3:15:26 Acts 4:10,33 Acts 5:30,32 Acts 7:55,56 Acts 10:40-43Acts 13:30-39Acts 17:31,32 Acts 26:8-23.

Water Baptism
THE BELIEVERS BIBLE STUDYSTEWARDS OF THE MYSTERIES OF GODWATER BAPTISM IN JESUS NAME (1)BY PAUL B THOMAS
Topic: Baptism in Jesus NameScripture Reading: (Ephesians 1:17)Purpose: A MINI COURSE
Introduction: Purpose: This is a mini course to give you the basics of water baptism. It is not a doctrinal study however but it is biblically sound and patterns itself around the apostles doctrine which taught the teachings of Jesus himself. It is a brief Discipleship course introducing water baptism in Jesus name to the person who desires to take the first step into the faith.
1.What did Jesus tell John about his baptism?"Suffer me now"No man is ever to put off such an important step, the step that puts a man into Christ (Romans 6:3-4).
2. Was Jesus baptised and why? Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptised of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptised of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.(Mt 3:13-17).
3. How is baptism carried out and in whose name? Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to.(Matthew 28:19).
4. Why is the Believer to be baptised? If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15).
5. Did Jesus command us to be baptised? And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.(Mark 16:16).
6. Did the Apostles Command believers to be baptised? The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen (Acts 1:1).And he commanded them to be baptised in the name of the Lord, then prayed they him to tarry certain days (Acts 10;48).
7.If someone asks what shall we do, what should be your answer? The Jews also had heard the truth and were also wondering what to do, for they asked Peter, “What shall we do?” To this Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised every one of you for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38).
8.When should one be baptised?Baptism is to be done immediately. Did not hesitate to be baptised. Those who heard Peter's message they that received his Word were baptised and there were added unto them in "that day" about three thousand souls. (Acts 2:41)
9.Describe the Ethiopian’s Eunichs baptism?Behold here is water “what doth hinder me” to be baptised? … and he "commanded" the chariot to stand still and they both went down into the water... and he baptised him (Acts 8:36,38) note first, we are commanded to be baptised not invited. Secondly it the Eunich was baptised immediately. He was travelling and he stopped the chariot immediately.
10.Describe Saul’s baptismAnd Now why tarriest thou? (Acts 22;16a)And Now why tarriest thou, arise and be baptised and wash away thy sins, calling on his name ( Acts 22:16).
11.Describe the Philippian Jailor’s baptism?Baptised the same hourHe Was taken the same hour of the night and was baptised, he and all his, immediately (Acts 16:29-34). Such was the importance of baptism that Paul awoke the whole family out of bed in the middle of the night
12. Does baptism place us in right standing with God?Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptised of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptised of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.(Matthew 3:13-17).
13. Who are the saved ones?He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16).
14. What takes place in water baptism?Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.(Romans 6:3-7)
16. What does Romans 6:4 tell us about our death, burial and resurrection? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4).
17. What happens to the old man in baptism? In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (Colossians 2:11,12).
18.What did it take to do all this? And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.(Col 2:12)
19. Was anyone ever re-baptised?And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptised? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptised with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus.(Acts 19:1-5).
NOTES:Jesus and his name are one. It is Jesus that baptises us when we take on his name. Hence the singular name of Matthew 28. There’s power healing deliverance and salvation Jesus and as we take on his name these things become ours. Salvation’s our because Jesus has become our salvation. We appropriate it through obedience to his commands. The believer is a baptised one who has take-in his name in baptism and so becomes a child of God. We are begotten of him when we take phis name that is adopted by God when we take on his name. Those born of God are called by his name.
For further Study: Matt 28:16-20. John 20, 21. Acts 1Questions to Consider: How does baptism associate his with Christ (Romans 6;4) what is the promise of (Romans 6;5) those baptised by him are those who willies with him into eternal life is this true (Romans 6;5) those who are buried with him in baptism are free from sin ( Romans 6;7) is the baptised one dead to sin (Romans 6;11). Is the baptised one a servant of righteousness or a servant of sin (Romans 6.16,17). #11 The Laws of God
by Paul B Thomas
Topic: The Laws of God
Scripture Reading: (Hebrews 8;13)
Purpose: Understanding the importance of the laws of God helps us understand what are the laws of man and what are the laws of God. What laws are forever and what laws are fulfilled in Christ Jesus
A MINI COURSE
Introduction:
1.The Moral Law
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. (James 2:8,9).
2.The Ceremonial Law
And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice (Deut 4;12.31).
3.What is the nature of the moral law?The law of God is perfect converting the soul (Psalm 19;7)
4.Could the keeping of the ceremonial law make us wise unto salvationNo! Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; (Hebrews 9;9)
5.How long were the ordinance of man inplace for?
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation (Hebrews 9;10)
6. Did the reformation come when Christ came?
Yes. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9;11,12).
7.How did Christs death effect ceremonial lawsBlotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Col 2;14).
8.Does God bless us for going to Church even though we are the temple of God?
For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. (Hebrews 7;18,19).
NOTES: A clear understanding of the two sets of laws helps us see the differences between many issues in the church and our placement in Christ. It helps us embrace the law of god the ten commandments when we see all other commandments like, men and beards, woman who preach and teach in church, and so be able to correctly divide the word of god and see what commandments are for all time and what commandments are temporal, those that finished when Christ came.
Questions to Consider: 1.What happens when a king prays in the temple ( 2 Chron 7:1-3). 2.The nation sacrificed and all Israel stood and worshipped the Lord (2 Chron 7;4-7) 3.Can public corporate worship enlarge our vision for the city and nation? 4.There is a blessing of corporate worship what is it 2 Chron 7;8-12. 5. Describe the enlargement of Solomon’s territory (2 Chron 8;1-8). 6.. Describe the subjugation of Solomon’s enemies (2 Chron 8;7-10). 7. Name 10 practical benefits of worship in a church as opposed to a home?
For further Study: Solomon gathers Israel around the ark. (2 Chron 5). Solomon and his passion for God’s place (2 Chron 6;18-20).

The home therefore is the pace where we must get it right in order to be a bigger success in the world at large.
1.Who lays the foundations of the happy home? And the lord planted a garden eastward in eden; and there he put the man who he formed (Gen 2;8).

These papers are written By Paul B Thomas for the propagation of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the understanding of the apostles doctrine and the revelation of Jesus Christ.NOTES: The family that loves the Lord is a happy family. It has structure and order. and because it has structure and order it finds peace and security. The family that has a family prayer time has intimacy and love a boding takes place and togetherness is real and never superficial. Children grow up with a Christ like trust, confidence in themselves their faith and their Lord. A Godly family true raises positive kids, kids who will walk in wisdom and carry forth the purposes of God to their generation. It must be strongly noted that it is never the governments job or duty to raise up children rather it is the parents duty to instruct their children. No one knows the children better than the parents and its the parents who are required by the Lord to teach them the ways of the lord. hence they will take on the success that alone God them later in their life. There is no place that prepares them for failure or success greater than the home. The home is where they learn their values approval, confidence and place in life and family. there is no place more important that the family home.
Questions to Consider: 1.What is God’s structure for the family? 2.What is gods purpose for the family. 3.What is the value fo having religion in the home? 4.What does scriptures say about husbands and wives connecting and relating (Ephesians 5;22-33; 1 Peter 3;1-7).

Working The Works of Jesus
THE PBT TOPICAL BIBLE NOTES
#05 Working The Works of Jesus
By Paul B Thomas
Topic: Working the works of Jesus
Scripture Reading:
Purpose:
1.Does Jesus heal all?
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil (Acts 10:38.)
2. Does Jesus have all power?
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying ,all power is given unto me in heaven and earth (Matt 28:18).
3. Did Jesus assign us to do his works
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these(John 14;12-14).I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9;4).
4.Who has all power?
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:18-20).
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1;8).
5.What authority have we do carry out his mission?
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).
6.What specific power have we?
Go into all the world and preach the gospel
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16).
7.What works are we do do?
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8).
8.If we have his power to carry out his mission then surely we must do it in his name?
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? (Acts 4:7). And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:33).
9. Is faith required by the sick
Thy people shall willing in the day of thy power (Psalm 110:3)
10. Can the believer who trust in the name of Jesus heal the sick?
Then he had called unto him his twelve disciples he gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of disease (Matt 10:1) (Mark 6:7)
11. Can the believer work the works of God too?
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9:4). Wist ye not that I must be about my father’s business (Luke 2:49)
NOTES:
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (JOHN 9:4).
Jesus always had a certain dialogue that always indicated that he and the father were one. ‘I say only what he says,’ ‘I do only what he tells me.’ ‘I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing’ (John 5;19). For I have not spoken on my own authority: the Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and what to speak (John 12;49).
What thirty three-year old would even talk like this after all for all men have freedom to say what they want and do what they want, when they want, yes Jesus talked like a son even though he was a man, always, and it’s in this that we have a unique discovery, that even as a man he was still the ‘Everlasting Father.’ for if Jesus had lived until he was eighty or ninety (as a man) he still would have had used this ‘child’s talk.’ indeed throughout his life.
Secondly we see the oneness of God here at work that will never been seen in the human world, Some objectors to the oneness of God teaching witll use the illustrationof a three membered family to point out how aman and a woman can be one Of coursem my response to this, It does not matter how ‘one’ a man is with his wife he will never be at this point or could claim to be at this point where he would be saying ‘I only say what my wife tells me.’ Further enforcing the point that oneness cannot exist as a triune being with any other being, oneness can only exist in one’s own soul in a man being one with God. Further oneness is a God thing between natures not persons.
Jesus came to do the works of God and indeed no man can do the works of God unless he has his Spirit and his nature,
Matthew 28 gives us another key "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. No ‘man’ has power in heaven and earth. Yet Jesus as a man said he had power in heaven and earth. NO MAN has power in heaven and earth yet Jesus has power over all men for he said that the disciples were to teach all men and baptise them into his name. Proof again that it was God himself who made these commandments and that Jesus was and is indeed God alone
These papers are written By Paul B Thomas for the propagation of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the understanding of the apostles doctrine and the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Questions to Consider: 1.What works should we work? 2. What does working the works of Jesus entail? 3. How is this ability given and to whom is it given? 4. Are we to use spiritual gifts, if so, why?

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38).
“That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries” (Proverbs 8:21)
He that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness. (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)
4. Wealth comes to further God's Cause.
let them shout for joy and be glad and favor my righteous cause, let them say continually. Let the Lord be magnified which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (Psalm 35:27).
5.Wealth comes by keeping God's covenant
I you are willing and obedient you will eat of the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest - and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man (Proverbs 24;3 - 34). Proverbs 10:4– “A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Also, Proverbs 12:11– “Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.”

Wealth comes by being financially astute. We have sown much and bring in little, ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you. but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put into a bag of holes
(Haggai 1:6).
10. God is the source of all wealth.
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (Proverbs 10:22).
NOTES
Wealthy is not worldly and poverty is not godly. Money does make one a sinner. Sin makes one a sinner. Prosperity is Gods will. Prosperity is having enough to meet our own needs and meet the needs of others. Prosperity put a man in control of his daily lifestyle habits and destiny. Poverty takes away this right. Poverty makes man a slave. Money enables us to do far more in the kingdom and take the gospel to the world just as Jesus intended. Money is not why we preach money helps us preach.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Blessed "oh, the happiness"- “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3). shall prosper--literally, "make prosper," brings to perfection. (A. R. FAUSSET).
Wisdom along with an inheritance is good And an [excellent] advantage for those who see the sun.12 For wisdom is a protection even as money is a protection, But the [excellent] advantage of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the lives of its possessors. (Ecc 7:11,12 AMP).
Wisdom is better when it’s paired with money, Especially if you get both while you’re still living. Double protection: wisdom and wealth!
Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner. (Ecc 7:11,12 MESSAGE).

Purpose: The quality of life begins in the home, the home is where we receive affirmation, of our identity and family. The home is where we learn to live as a family and thus be able to live with others outside it in the wider world. Our actions, ways of communications, respect or lack of it in the home, reveals the way we will communicate and respect others in the community and bigger world. The home therefore is the pace where we must get it right in order to be a bigger success in the world at large.
1.Who lays the foundations of the happy home?
And the lord planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man who he formed (Gen 2;8).
2.In making a Godly and Happy home, what is needed?
And the Lord god said it is not good that man should be alone, I will make him an help meet. (v18).
3.What is the purpose and blessing of a happy and Godly home?
And God said to them be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 1;28).
4. God in the home brings order and happiness to all

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto they children, and shall talk to them when thou fittest in thine house, and when thou wallets by the way, and when thou lest down, and when thou rises up. (Deut 6;7).
9.God has a purpose for the children.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures which are able to make theorise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3;15).
10. Every home should have a family altar
And there he built an altar unto the Lord and called upon the name of the LORD (Gen 12;8).
NOTES:
1.A happy home is a home where everyone is edified, appreciated, valued and cares one for another. God gave us the foundation for a happy home(Genesis 2;8)
2. To make a happy home a man needs a happy woman(Genesis 2;18)
3. A happy home shares the same values
4. A happy home shares the same goals, dreams and ideals
5. A happy home is where folks are thought well of. ‘The glory of children are their fathers (Proverbs 17;6)
6. A happy home is where there is mutual submission (Ephesians 5:22,23)
7. A happy home is where there’s a healthy balance between recreation together and ones separate work. The happy home has time for each other and values a time for work. (Ecc 3:1-9) And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
8.A happy home values the elderly and takes time to visit the sick (Proverbs 23;22) ‘Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.’ (Lev 19:32) Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.
9.Care one for another is a foundation for a happy home (1 Cor 12:25)
10.A happy home has time for God, prayer and church fellowship (Hebrews 1:;25).
The family that loves the Lord is a happy family.
The home is where they learn their values, approval, confidence and place in life and family. THE HOME IS THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF LIFE. There is no place more important that the family home.
Questions to Consider:
1.What is God’s structure for the family?
2.What is God’s purpose for the family.
3.What is the value fo having religion in the home?
4.What does scriptures say about husbands and wives connecting and relating (Ephesians 5;22-33; 1 Peter 3;1-7).

Raising Godly Children
Scripture Reading (Deut 6:6,7. Proverbs 22:6).
-
What Does the Lord say about raising children?
Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). -
What is the fathers role in raising up Godly Children?
And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath; but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). -
Should parents correct their children?
The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame (Proverbs 22;15). -
Corrections a sign of love
He that spareth the rod hatter his son, but he that liveth his son chasteneth him betimes (Proverbs 13;24) -
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous,; nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby (Hebrews 12;11)
-
Let no man despise they youth; but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity (1 Timothy 4;12).
-
What are the duties of Children to Parents?
Honour thy father and mother (Exodus 20;12).
NOTES: Correction should never be given in anger. If a child is persistently perverse and stubborn then one must be persistent in love, reasoning and also correction. Correction should never be abusive whether verbally or physically or mentally. Shoutings is not corrective and anger is never justified, but discipline by the disciplined parent is good and correction by the parent who can train a child is important and above all love is the best example of guidance.
