What Does FAITH do?
Scripture Reading (Hebrews 11).
1.Every man has a measure of faith
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3).
2.We cannot please God without Faith
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6).
3. We cannot pray, without having faith
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6)
4. We cannot be saved without faith
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Ephesians 2:8).
5. We cannot live for God without Faith
The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17
6. You cannot walk the walk or talk the talk without faith
We walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7)
NOTES:
FAITH BUILDERS: WHAT DOES FAITH DO... Faith gives you courage to move on and embrace the new. Faith gives you the ability to say yes to the challenge and say no to the disappointments. Faith moves you out of the rut and into revival, out of hopelessness and into a bright tomorrow. Faith lets Go of yesterday and let's God do something new today. Faith says yes when doubt says no, Faith embraces new things, horizons, possibilities, dreams and a new start. Yes that’s what FAITH is... A new Start.. Embrace faith today, change your life tomorrow.. "ALL things are possible to him who believes." (Jesus).
Faith is the working out of all impossibilities so that when you arrive at a deciding point you get rid of all options. It's saying yes when you dare not say No. Its embracing the world thing to do the great thing and then move silently into action
Faith does not require a debate. You can't debate God anymore than you can debate with your ultimate destiny, the thing God has in store for you. Its a present, a gift., God's gift to you. Yes faith is God's gift to you to do what you are not capable of doing without him. Its a bit like a business deal with divinity. God needs You and you need divinity. Now with that in mind ask yourself what are you doing that's just simply out of this world?
Faith makes invisible things seeable and embraceable, Faith energises the life within and says, "let's do it!"
The source of your future is your faith, the faith you have right now, which means right now if you have faith you can create your future and live it as if it already exists. Faith says it does. So why wait for tomorrow? Your future has already arrived!

#13 The Believers Diligence
By Paul B Thomas
Topic: Diligence
Scripture Reading: 2 Cor 8;7 Proverbs 6:6-11
Purpose: Diligence enables us to keep what God has blessed us with. Diligence enables us to own our lives and take control of our future. These are principles which rule the financial, spiritual and earthly worlds and should not be confused with grace and favour. Neither substituted for the course of diligence.
1.What is the believer exhorted to excel in?
But as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you – see that you excel in this act of grace also. (2 Cor 8:7e ESV).
2.What are we to add to our faith?
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self- control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. (2 Peter 1;5-7 ESV).
3.What does Solomon say in relation to a Shepherds diligence.
Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks (Proverbs 27:3).
4.What does the wisest man who ever lived say regarding financial diligence.
He that gatherers in summer is a wise son but he that sleepers in harvest is a son that causeth shame (Proverbs 10:5).
5.Can a believer be rich in industry (business).
The hand of the diligent maketh rich (Proverbs 10:4).
6.How does Preparation and planning ward off poverty.
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. (Proverbs 6;6-11).
7.We are to be diligence in keeping our motives and attitude pure
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. (Proverbs 4;23).
8.What is the key to the believer’s harvest of blessing?
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (Gal 6:9)
9.How should we be diligent in our seeking after God?
But without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11;6)
He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper. (2 Chron 26:5).
10.How does diligence lead to promotion in the workplace
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. (Proverbs 12;24).
Tribute: Tax in the form of enforced labour.
These papers are written By Paul B Thomas for the propagation of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the understanding of the apostles doctrine and the revelation of Jesus Christ.
NOTES:
Diligence is the ability to navigate struggles and setbacks and arrivei at ones chosen open heaven.
In life we all face struggles. whether you’re a surgeon or street cleaner, an aristocrat or a street artist. rich or poor. struggles are challenges, opportunities to get out of the rut and every vocation rich or poor has its ruts). its monotonous moments, its routine, its ritual and its struggles.
Diligence is the art of the smart and the reward of the faithful. the faithful shall abound with blessings and indeed there in no greater area in which one should be faithful than in the area of struggle sand setback. if you can master these two barriers you can win in life. ignore them and you’re doomed to failure.
Diligence is the art of the smart who find solutions to problems others are overcome by. Those who get ahead of the crowd are indeed those who can navigate crisis and push forward irrespective of obstacles in their way. Instances are indeed stepping stones to a higher dimension. and it’s as we have a positive view of obstacles we see them not as barriers but open gates. Access points to what’s bigger, better and more desirable.
QUESTIONS:
1.What is the definition of diligence mean? What’s the meaning of “tribute” as in Prov 12:24? 2.List three aspects of diligence? 3.What are the differences between a prosperous man and a sluggard? 4.How can the believer develop habits of industry, technology and spirituality.

1.A happy home is a home where everyone is edified, appreciated, valued and cares one for another. God gave us the foundation for a happy home(Genesis 2;8)
2. To make a happy home a man needs a happy woman(Genesis 2;18)
3. A happy home shares the same values
4. A happy home shares the same goals, dreams and ideals
5. A happy home is where folks are thought well of. ‘The glory of children are their fathers (Proverbs 17;6)
6. A happy home is where there is mutual submission (Ephesians 5:22,23)
7. A happy home is where there’s a healthy balance between recreation together and ones separate work. The happy home has time for each other and values a time for work. (Ecc 3:1-9) And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
8.A happy home values the elderly and takes time to visit the sick (Proverbs 23;22) ‘Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.’ (Lev 19:32) Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.
9.Care one for another is a foundation for a happy home (1 Cor 12:25)
10.A happy home has time for God, prayer and church fellowship (Hebrews 1:;25).
The family that loves the Lord is a happy family. It has structure and order. and because it has structure and order it finds peace and security. The family that has a family prayer time has intimacy and love a boding takes place and togetherness is real and never superficial. Children grow up with a Christ like trust, confidence in themselves their faith and their Lord. A Godly family true raises positive kids, kids who will walk in wisdom and carry forth the purposes of God to their generation.
It must be strongly noted that it is never the governments job or duty to raise up children rather it is the parents duty to instruct their children. No one knows the children better than the parents and its the parents who are required by the Lord to teach them the ways of the lord. hence they will take on the success that alone God them later in their life. There is no place that prepares them for failure or success greater than the home. The home is where they learn their values, approval, confidence and place in life and family. THE HOME IS THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF LIFE. There is no place more important that the family home.

God is Willing to HEAL you.

Jesus had just finished his sermon the sermon of the mount. When a leper came and fell down at his feet and worshipped him.. A leper came to Jesus and said Lord if thou wilt thou canst make me clean. "I WILL" said Jesus..."BE THOU CLEAN" (Matthew 8:3). Jesus said "I will" and he said "BE thou made clean. The "I WILL" was connected to "Right now" His will is always right now. God is willing to heal and his will is that you be healed right now.
The second I WILL is found in the account of the roman soldier in (Matthew 8;7). Lord he said, He himself was ‘Lord but he met the Lord of lord's. "my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy grievously tormented (Matthew 8:6)... grievously tormented. what a state of mind, soul and body. jesus replied, " "I WILL come and HEAL HIM." (Matthew 8;7).
The third I WILL of Jesus IS FOUND in the account of the little girl Jesus was willing to heal her too. Matthew 15:21-28. "Then Jesus ... went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, 'Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.' But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged Him to send her away ... Then Jesus said to the woman, 'I was sent only to help God's lost sheep—the people of Israel.' But she came and worshiped him, pleading again, 'Lord, help me!' Jesus responded, 'It isn't right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.' She replied, 'That's true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters' table.' 'Dear woman,' Jesus said to her, 'your faith is great. Your request is granted.' And her daughter was instantly healed."
This women acted on here daughters behalf. Think of this. Her mother had faith, you may be a grandmother who is believing God for a miracle today. He is never unwilling to come to come wherever there is the cry and call of faith, maybe youre too weak to cry out, but Jeus will never ignore you. maybe your are so weak that another has to stand in the gap for you and believe Jesus. Jesus willcoem yes he will and heal you. You see he does not respond to our ability or need but he he responds to FAITH. If you call by FAITH Jesus will come to you. Your need does not bring his healing power, his presence is always with you but that anointing where he said I WILL, is his response to your FAITH. Not your condition but your FAITH. Today is God's NOW believe in his ability to heal you.God to him NOW.Touch himHe's that close to youTalk to him until you feel his presence... yes do that right nowThen , yers Then, Recieve it.
Working The Works of Jesus
THE PBT TOPICAL BIBLE NOTES
#05 Working The Works of Jesus
By Paul B Thomas
Topic: Working the works of Jesus
Scripture Reading:
Purpose:
1.Does Jesus heal all?
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil (Acts 10:38.)
2. Does Jesus have all power?
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying ,all power is given unto me in heaven and earth (Matt 28:18).
3. Did Jesus assign us to do his works
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these(John 14;12-14).I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9;4).
4.Who has all power?
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:18-20).
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1;8).
5.What authority have we do carry out his mission?
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).
6.What specific power have we?
Go into all the world and preach the gospel
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16).
7.What works are we do do?
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8).
8.If we have his power to carry out his mission then surely we must do it in his name?
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? (Acts 4:7). And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:33).
9. Is faith required by the sick
Thy people shall willing in the day of thy power (Psalm 110:3)
10. Can the believer who trust in the name of Jesus heal the sick?
Then he had called unto him his twelve disciples he gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of disease (Matt 10:1) (Mark 6:7)
11. Can the believer work the works of God too?
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9:4). Wist ye not that I must be about my father’s business (Luke 2:49)
NOTES:
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (JOHN 9:4).
Jesus always had a certain dialogue that always indicated that he and the father were one. ‘I say only what he says,’ ‘I do only what he tells me.’ ‘I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing’ (John 5;19). For I have not spoken on my own authority: the Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and what to speak (John 12;49).
What thirty three-year old would even talk like this after all for all men have freedom to say what they want and do what they want, when they want, yes Jesus talked like a son even though he was a man, always, and it’s in this that we have a unique discovery, that even as a man he was still the ‘Everlasting Father.’ for if Jesus had lived until he was eighty or ninety (as a man) he still would have had used this ‘child’s talk.’ indeed throughout his life.
Secondly we see the oneness of God here at work that will never been seen in the human world, Some objectors to the oneness of God teaching witll use the illustrationof a three membered family to point out how aman and a woman can be one Of coursem my response to this, It does not matter how ‘one’ a man is with his wife he will never be at this point or could claim to be at this point where he would be saying ‘I only say what my wife tells me.’ Further enforcing the point that oneness cannot exist as a triune being with any other being, oneness can only exist in one’s own soul in a man being one with God. Further oneness is a God thing between natures not persons.
Jesus came to do the works of God and indeed no man can do the works of God unless he has his Spirit and his nature,
Matthew 28 gives us another key "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. No ‘man’ has power in heaven and earth. Yet Jesus as a man said he had power in heaven and earth. NO MAN has power in heaven and earth yet Jesus has power over all men for he said that the disciples were to teach all men and baptise them into his name. Proof again that it was God himself who made these commandments and that Jesus was and is indeed God alone
These papers are written By Paul B Thomas for the propagation of the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the understanding of the apostles doctrine and the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Questions to Consider: 1.What works should we work? 2. What does working the works of Jesus entail? 3. How is this ability given and to whom is it given? 4. Are we to use spiritual gifts, if so, why?

And there he built an altar unto the Lord and called upon the name of the LORD (Gen 12;8).
NOTES:
Questions to Consider:
1.What is God’s structure for the family?
2.What is God’s purpose for the family.
3.What is the value fo having religion in the home?
4.What does scriptures say about husbands and wives connecting and relating (Ephesians 5;22-33; 1 Peter 3;1-7).

Apostolic Fundamentals (pt2 Christ Died)
First the representations and predictions of the fathers of our faith.and the oracles of scripture to prove that Christ was to suffer and die for our sins. First in type, where we see Abraham offering up his son, his only son as a sacrifice unto God. (Genesis 22). Isaac is the sacrifice who bears the wood and a lamb is slain in his stead. therefore Isaac bearing the wood signified Christ the lamb of God, bearing the cross. When the fiery serpents by the Israelites and many people died, Moses by the command of God made a serpent of brass and put it on a pole and it came to pass that whoever was bit when he beheld the serpent on the pole, he lived (Numbers 21;9). Christ himself told Nichodemus, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in thew wilderness even so must the son of man be lifted up" (John 3;14).The paschal lamb did plainly signify the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins fo the World and the preparing of it did not only represent the cross but the command of the passover ordinance that also foretold Christs death. so we see the death of Christ thousands of years before his birth even was represented by the law and the prophets. Not only is Christ's death burial and resurrection predicted and promised but it is also spoken by the prophets. Zechariah declared they shall look upon him whom they pierced (Zech 12;10). The prophet and king David declared by the anointing of the spirit of the Lord who spoke through him, they pierced my hands and my feet" (Psalm 22;16)The Romans and Jews crucified him and bore witness to his death. On the cross was witnessed the his death in Hebrew Greek and latin, "Jesus of Nazareth the king of the Jews" (John 19:19 ) So to deny Christ death is to deny Christs words, in scripture and to and through the prophets. through which he spoke.
Christ DIED for our sins... (1 Corinthians 15;3-8).
The punishment was paInful and shameful, torturous and barbaric. He died like countless many of others who for their faith died by the hands of the roman warlords who would have no other god but Ceaser, yet this man Jesus, was to to himself die for all men. No man would die for the sins of others except he be God, in the flesh, hence Christ died to bring salvation. Without him becoming our sacrifice mankind has no forgiveness of sins or redemption either. Christs death is an event witnessed by many as the bible tells, history reveals and man bears witness too as we shall see in the coming days.TBCPaul
Apostolic Fundamentals (pt1. Christ Died)
My friend who is a muslim by faith informed me that the Quran teaches that Jesus did not die but rather was taken to heaven by Allah and will one day return to earth. Here is a brief rendering of the Quran: "..but they killed him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them(the resemblance of Isa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man) and those that differ therein are full of doubts. They have no certain knowledge, they follow nothing but conjure, for surely they killed him not ( ie Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary) 158 But Allah raised him (Isa) (Jesus) up (with his body and soul) unto himself (and he is in the heavens) and Allah is Ever All powerful and All wise" (155-158).I have written a mini book for muslims entitled "Jesus or Islam" however I was provoked to write a few chapters on our apostolic fundaments beginning with this chapter "Christ Died for our sins" here is a "segment" which I shall I be continuing these next few days. The Quran states that we believers are full of doubt. I disagree i have not yet met a genuine believer in Christ whoever doubted the death burial and resurrection of Jesus, We have met him and his presence and person has forever changed our lives. the proof did not start with us but the law and prophets of old....The proof that Jesus died, was buried and rose again is clear in scriptures by bother types and prophecies thousands of years prior to Christ's coming and by the many witnesses present at the death, the disciples and many others after he rose again as well as the millions of Christians who today's testified to the resurrected life of the God man as their life transformational experience just as Jesus himself had promised. In contrast to the Qurans account by one man who lived hundreds of years after Jesus and therefore was not present at his death. we have a choice to believe one man who was against Christ or believe the report of Christ himself through the law and prophets. which is the report of the Lord.Isaiah the prophet declared,
(ISAIAH 53;1-8) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2.For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3.He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4.Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5.But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6.All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7.He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8.He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.8.
9.And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12.Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Should I Go to the DOCTOR'S or Trust Jesus?
Q. SHOULD I take medication or trust the Lord for my healing?
A. Faith is divine confidence in God that he is who he is and that he promises what he says he will do.
Faith in God is the highest form of faith. scriptures declares have the God kind of faith.Different folks have different levels of faith, some can believe God to heal them while others believe God yet will go to the doctors first. It's not that they doubt God but rather trust the doctors in creatain areas of their well-being. That is not wrong, so the question is WHEN DO I TRUST GOD TOTALLY to heal me?And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to YOUR faith be it unto youMatthew 9:27-29
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you. Aramaic Bible in Plain English Then he touched their eyes, and he said, "Just as you have believed, let it be done to you."
Those who, by the providence of God, have lost their bodily sight, may, by the grace of God, have the eyes of their understanding fully enlightened....They followed him crying aloud. He would try their faith, and would teach us always to pray, and not to faint, though the answer does not come at once. They followed Christ, and followed him crying; but the great question is, Do ye believe? Nature may make us earnest, but it is only grace that can work faith. (Matthew Henry).
According to your faith - That is, you have "believed" that you could be healed, be healed accordingly.(Barnes Notes).
We cannot criticise others for relying on medication while we ourselves may rely on God's spoken promises. It is as God speaks to you, so your faith becomes alive living and active in that area. If God gives his WORD then God will give the assurace of his healing. The prerogative is on God to SPEAK. The responsibility is on us to seek.Faith is an active force, and we may have faith indifferent areas of our lives and well being. some have faith to travel full-time as missionaries and believe God to supply their every need while they may be weak in believing God to heal their body, My adopted dad for example Had faith that the Lord had saved him and would keep him yet he had little revelation of divine healing, he died with lung disease through working in the coal mines for 30 years...
...Some have FAITH in one area and not another, revelation of God in one area and not another. Some believe in prosperity while others don't, some believe in the full salvation as in Acts 238 while others don't, some believe in deliverance while others don't..... Our job is to pursue the full gospel so that we can live in FAITH in every area of our lives.
The point is we are all in different places with God and at different stages in our faith. I may believe God more in one area than you. but I can't criticise you for I am not where you are and neither are you where I am...in your walk with God
If man has no answers, then know this Jesus is the answer. This is not "despising" the physician this is "elevating" Jesus above the physician because he has spoken his word to you. and as for me I wont "despise" his word. He is the healer, Jesus alone is the healer. Medication is not the healer, Jesus is the Healer! He alone as the heavenly physician, conquered sickness and provided redemption for the curse. So lets start there. yes understand the REDEMPTIVE work of Jesus... with his stripes I am healed. (Isaiah 53;5).Paul.
