A ‘Greater works’ ….. Generation

A Greater works Generation

Greater things than this shall you do, (John 14:12).

Jesus performed great works. maybe this generation has been accustomed to seeings people fall don in the spirit and slain in the Spirit, i’m not decrying that but I believe that they book ofActs and the ministry of Jesus sets the bottom line standard.

Mighty sings and wonders in the name. include the authentic sings and wonders, sings and wonders that set the standard.

Casting our demons, speaking in other tongues, healing the sick, miracles, extraordinary signs of faith. We have to measure our works alongside these. and ask the Lord for grace to move higher

One key to doing the greater works is to desire and manifest spiritual gifts. the gifts are the weapons of our warfare the gifts are the manifestations of God at work in us, through us and not others.

1.Covet spiritual gifts:
we are too earnestly desire spiritual gifts, to seek them and indeed covet them. think of it we are to covet spirit gifts yet the word covet is associated with things forbiodden. don’t ‘covet’ your neighbours wife or property or goods. yet here the same word is used to encourage us to seize, possess and grab a hold of spoiritul gifts. Covet spiritual gifts. It’s the pathways to spiral authenticity

2.Strive for the gifts:
Here’s another negative word, strive. a man of God ought not to strive yet here the Apostles tells us to strive for spiritual gifts.
Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over ... (1 Timothy 4;14).
Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, ‘strive’ to excel in gifts that ..
(1 Cor 14: 12)

3.Excel in the gifts:
Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, strive to excel in gifts that ... is with you. (1 Corinthians 14:12)

4.Fan into flame the gifts
why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my ... reason I remind you to fan into flame the giftof God, which is in you through . (2 Timothy 1;6)

WARRIOR
SET TO CONQUER

And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, And made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me. (ISAIAH 49;2).

You were hidden throughout the ages of time to be a secret voice standing at ancient gates. A preserver of the faith once delivered, an administrator of the legacy of the apostle’s doctrine. An arrow from God’s quiver, a messenger whose time has come. (Acts 2:42).

YOU ARE A PROPHET to ALL PEOPLE’S
..called to raise the dead, those who unattached and unassigned. And he said prophesy to these bones ..and the bones came together…and rose up an army (Ezekiel 37;1-14). Like your master you lead a host, an army, a company of warriors, preachers, broadcasters, marketers, saviours. equipped with swords and gifted with words, the SWORD of the SPIRIT.

YOU ARE A BAPTISER of NATIONS
OUR PRIORITY IN CHRIST
And he said go and make disciples of all NATIONS baptising them into the name (Jesus). Your global ability to connect beyond the walls is possible because you have the revelation of the name of God the name given to all gentiles, the name in whom the Gentiles will trust (Matt 12;21, 28;19). You are given the mission to Remit sins. (John 20;23) ‘‘baptising them in the name for the REMISSION of sins’ (Acts 2:38). Without such a baptism no sins and taken away.

YOU ARE A LIGHT SET ON A HILL
OUR POSITION IN CHRIST.
A light that cannot be hid, authorised in Jesus name to bind the forces of darkness. Assigned to dispel the darkness with the word of life and light in your mouth. The power to BIND and LOOSE is ours and he has given us the ministry of RECONCILIATION (2 Cor 5;17-21).

WE ARE A GENERATION THAT WILL DO EXPLOITS
(Dan 11;32).
OUR PRIVILEDGE IN CHRIST…
Explosive EXPLOITS and the GREATER WORKS ministry. The GREATER WORKS of Love and The GREATER WORDS of MERCY.

WE ARE A RIGHTEOUS GENERATION
OUR POSESSION IN CHRIST.
Not a self righteousness generation but a generation whose righteousness is in Christ. Job exclaimed All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my (change of GARMENTS) come (JOB 14;14).

Purpose:

1.Does Jesus heal all?how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil (Acts 10:38.)

2. Does Jesus have all power?Jesus came and spake unto them, saying ,all power is given unto me in heaven and earth (Matt 28:18).

3.Did he assign us to do his worksVery truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these(John 14;12-14).I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9;4).

4.Who has all power?"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:18-20).But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1;8).

5.What authority have we do carry out his mission?Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16;13).

6.What specific power have we?Go into all the world and preach the gospel“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1;16).

7.What works are we do do?Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:8).

8.If we have his power to carry out his mission then surely we must do it in his name?And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? (Acts 4:7).And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:33).

9. Is faith required by the sickThy people shall willing in the day of thy power (Psalm 110:3).

10. Can the believer who trust in the name of Jesus heal the sick?Then he had called unto him his twelve disciples he gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of disease (Matt 10:1) (Mark 6;7)

11. Can the believer work the works of God too?I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9;4)Wist ye not that I must be about my faiths business (Luke 2;49)
